The northernmost town of the lake is Riva del Garda which, on Trentino territory, marks the connection between the two shores of the lake.

From Riva del Garda, along the bresciana shore you meet Limone sul Garda, Toscolano - Maderno and Gardone Riviera, famous for the presence of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the museum house of Gabriele D'Annunzio.
